Most commonly asked questions about
my travels...
What made you want to
start traveling?
ˇ My life at home
became a bit dull. I needed a change of environment.
How do you pay for your
trips?
ˇ I work hard and
save almost all my money.
How old are you?
ˇ
19.
How much does it cost you
to do all that?
ˇ I don't think thats anyone business but
probably not as much as most people would think.
Why do you go to places
that aren't so safe?
ˇ Who told you they
weren't safe? Have you been there?
No, but I have read about
it.
ˇ I don't believe
everything I hear and read I guess I want to find out first hand.3
How do you get around?
ˇ It depends. My
means of transportation range from, mostly buses but sometime I
walk, hitch-hike, take trains, cars, buses, boats, bike, helicopter,
and for far distances I take a plane.
Where do you sleep?
ˇ Sometimes hostels, my tent, and in one occasion a cave.
What do you eat?
ˇ I try to go for more
proteins and carbs. but it's hard when your in places where food is
scarce or unsanitary.
Who do you go with?
ˇ Myself.
Do you make any friends?
ˇ Yes always, but I
rarely keep in contact.
Why?
ˇ Because after
meeting as many people as I have, you start to realize you will
never see any of them again.
Doesn't it get boring
alone?
ˇ You have to put
yourself into a different mind set.
Are you ever scared?
ˇ Always, but this is
how it works...You do what you are most afraid first then you get
the courage for it after.
Well that doesn't make
much sense.
ˇ
I know but that's the way it works...
What do your parents say?
ˇ My mom supports me
in almost everything I do but I know that she's always nervous and
dad doesn't really like the countries I chose.
What would you say to a
person who plans on backpacking the way you do?
ˇ Be, smart don't put
yourself in situations where you think something is wrong, because
chances are... there is.
Out of all the places
you've been so far what's your favorite?
ˇ Bolivia.
Why?
ˇ The salt flats of
Salar de Uyuni made me feel like I was on another planet, and I
guess my experience there was a lot of fun.
Your least favorite?
ˇ New Jersey.
Do you ever plan to stop
traveling?
ˇ That's a hard
question because of course I'll always travel but not the way I do
now. I want to be a home owner someday and start a family but that
would be hard if I spent all my money on traveling. So sooner or
later I will have to buckle down and figure out what I want to do as
a career but as of now I want to get the most out of life and see as
much as I can before that time comes.
